Rainwater Harvesting For Hotels
Rainwater Harvesting can be ideal for places that use a lot of water such as hotels where there are many toilets that need flushing, cleaning urinals and the continuous use of showers. Each person on average uses approximately 37-47 litres a day on bathing and showering. Therefore rainwater harvesting is an excellent water saving proccess that is cost effective and enviromently friendly.
How the Process Works
Once the system has been successfully installed the rainwater is then filtered and stored into a tank which can be above ground or buried underground. Several tanks can be linked together which will increase the amount of litres of water being stored.
(As shown in the picture above). A Centrifugal pump is then situated in the building or a dry and safe place then the water is sucked up from the tank and then pumped up on demand to where it's needed.
